I promised to get you some photos of Jose Rodriguez' slot
 car box, miraculously preserved from destruction after 
his untimely death over 2 years ago.
For the younger generations, Jose was one of the most 
important and pivotal persons for the existence of the 
hobby in the United States. The author of numerous articles, 
books, manuals etc...Jose was an eminent member of NAMRA,
 HOCCI, and a writer for Car Model Magazine, MC & S, etc...
He was a superb car builder and won numerous Concours 
d'Elegance (that's the proper way of spelling it by the way)
 and was the designer of most Atlas slot cars.
Jose is well regretted by all.
